BestStart Inglewood is a community-focused early learning centre based in Cutfield Street. Licensed for 65 children, we strive to provide a high-quality, fun and safe environment for all tamariki.
The Cook role is an integral part of our team and we're looking for someone that can demonstrate the necessary skills to plan, prepare and cook healthy nutritious meals and snacks for our children. You will be cooking for up to 65 children aged from birth to 5 years, so the ability to think fast on your feet in a busy kitchen is essential!
What are we looking for in our centre Cook?
Our centres are licensed to MPI Food Safety Standards, so an ability to complete your work in a clean and tidy standard and to undertake all the necessary compliance documentation is essential. As well as being a collaborative team player, you will bring a friendly attitude to engage with whanau and children. Being able to multitask and think fast on your feet in a busy kitchen is essential.
