Control Systems Engineer

We have been asked to assist them in finding a qualified and experiencedSCADA Applications / Control Systems Engineerto join their Wellington team, providing answers and support to both your colleagues and customers.
The job

In this hands-on position, you will be dealing directly with customers’ providing advice and support, carrying out PLC and RTU programming to meet their needs and dealing with suppliers when issues arise.
If you’re our next SCADA Applications/ Controls system Engineer, you’ll know what’s involved.
The person

We are looking for someone:
Tertiary qualified in Electrical / Instrumentation or similar
At least 7 years experience with SCADA / PLC / RTU system, programming, trouble shooting and the likes
Experienced in Ladder Logic, Function Block and Structured Text programming
Experienced in IT & RF communications and telemetry
With skills in SCADA HMI configuration and commissioning.
With a good mechanical and electrical knowledge as well.
This is a hands-on role that will require a self-starter and be able to think outside the square when it comes to problem-solving and you will be someone able to travel around New Zealand and occasionally overseas.
A clean, full New Zealand drivers license is required for this role.
