New Energy are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual, compliance, and formal communication aspects of the Ruakaka Solar Farm.
You'll ensure contract obligations, notices, variations, resource consents, and regulatory requirements are met, and provide clear, timely advice to Project Managers.
This is an advisory and governance-focused role- you won't manage costs or schedules but will be critical in keeping the project on track.
Job Description
What You\'ll Do:
Manage head contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
Interpret and apply construction contracts (specifically FIDIC Yellow Book ****).
Prepare formal correspondence, ensuring PM approval before issuing.
Review drawings, quantify work, and manage revisions.
Advise Project Managers and project teams on contractual and compliance matters.
Support procurement and ensure supplier contract compliance.
Identify and report contractual and financial risks; maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
Extensive contracts management experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of construction contracts, specifically FIDIC (Yellow Book ****).
Experience reviewing drawing revisions and quantifying construction work.
NZ Driver's Licence Class 1 (Restricted or Full).
Proficiency in MS Project, MS Suite, Smartsheet, and document management systems (e.g., Procore or similar).
Analytical, detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and collaborative.
