3-month full time contract
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm and every 2nd Saturday 8am to 12pm

Woodmart is a one-stop shop for timber and building supplies in Auckland. We are a family operated business offering our customers friendly and honest advice on DIY building projects and our building and timber supplies. We specialise in framing timber, fencing timber, decking timber and other timber such as hardwood decking, as well as a range of high quality building hardware supplies.
We have an opportunity to join our team on a 4 month contract, working in our yard and completing deliveries to customers. This is a varied role that will include:
Helping customers select the right product and processing orders
Stacking timber
Ensuring the smooth running of the yard
Delivering building supplies to customers
It's approximtely a 50/50 split between being based at the yard and completing deliveries so you must hold a Class 2 Drivers licence and a forklift licence. Whilst an initial period of 4 months, there may be opportunities for a permanent role in the new year.
As our Yards Person, you understand the physical demands of the job and are physically fit and able to cope with lifting up to 23 kgs. Experience in the timber industry is essential.
