South Auckland Location Large Corporate NZ company Excellent Remuneration on offer About the Organisation Our client is a well known NZ brand An opportunity has arisen for a hands on process driven and experienced Financial Accountant The right candidate will support the Finance team to ensure they continue to deliver the good work they are notorious for About The Position Reporting to the Financial Controller you ll be comfortable working independently while recognising the value of collaboration and being part of a team Providing plenty of variety this role will suit an experienced hands on and process driven Financial Accountant With this pivotal role you will have the opportunity to ensure ongoing success of the Commercial Finance Department Skills and Experience Ensure the day to day management of corporate cost centres Process month end recharges for various services for the organisation Raise purchasing orders and following up the goods receipt process Process Month end half year and year end transactions and processes and will deliver the completion of balance sheet reconciliations Ensure cashflow is maintained in accordance with the business operating expectations Co ordinate and comply external and internal audit requests and act as the key liaison point for tax and compliance calculations FBT GST Income Tax MUST be fully qualified CA or path to complete within the next year Minimum 5 years experience in a large corporate environment ERP Systems knowledge preferably SAP Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical organisational skills Well versed across MS Office If you feel you have the necessary skill set to apply please send in your resume and covering letter For more information contact Chris Petzer 021 503 742 for a confidential discussion 1st in Safety 1st in People 1st in Results Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
