Our whyDatacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people's lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.About The Role (your Why)In this role the Content Producer will be responsible for producing, reviewing and editing high quality content for use on digital channels (including social media channels and digital marketing campaigns) and external events.
The Content Producer will use a range of content formats to tell Datacom's stories including short and long form content, written copy, videos and audio.Key responsibilities:Work alongside the Senior Content Editor and support content producers to produce content that supports key brand, communications and marketing activities, ensuring deadlines and quality criteria are met.Proactively identify opportunities for content to support with the wider brand and marketing focus areas.Produce a range of editorial content - both short form and long form digital content, based on interviews with internal and external stakeholders where required - to support key business objectives and marketing focus areas.Support the Senior Content Editor on strategic initiatives, including day-to-day support on internal stakeholder liaison and coordination.Develop and optimise content for SEO for the Discover stories so that it's maximised for indexing, ranking, click-throughs and conversion, according to best practice.Ensure brand and content guidelines are adhered to and effectively communicated internally.What you'll bring:Over 4 years of experience in content development and production, including video skills, digital editing, and video production.Proficiency in digital technology, content management systems (CMS), analytics, and editing software.A solid understanding of IT and business trends, as well as experience in digital and social media marketing, basic photography skills, and podcast production.Demonstrate a passion for excellence within the team, fostering a culture of continual learning.Creative thinking, attention to detail, time management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Proven experience interviewing people to develop content, the ability to create consumer-targeted web content fluently, and strong project management skills.Why Join Us Here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
