The Role This is a full-time permanent position based at our Christchurch Branch. As a Container Dispatcher/Admin your core role is to Dispatch container work to our fleet of experienced drivers, along with performing general administrative tasks. as a PBT Container Dispatcher you must be very Focused towards Customer duties including accurately recording and tracking calls from customers, suppliers and drivers, utilising effective communication and leadership in building efficient dispatch runs for the Containers Air & Ocean Fleet of PBT, performing all data entry duties in an accurate and efficient manner. Skills Needed Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally with people from different backgrounds and roles. 12 month experience in Logistics/Transport - Dispatching would be great but not essential Excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure Good literacy and numeracyskills (for example ableto read and comprehend business rules and policies, able to calculate hours to ensure maximum load weight and measurement restrictions are not exceeded) Computer experience, and strong keyboard/data entry skills are essential Excellent knowledge of the Christchurch and Canterbury region.
