About The Role
Join us as we expand our imaging services with the opening of the new Dunedin Hospital!
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist or Physician.
Our Radiology Service provides care to a population of approximately 310,000 in the lower South Island, primarily handling emergency and inpatient cases.
Our department is fully equipped with two MRI scanners, two multi-slice CT scanners, a Spect Nuclear Medicine department, ultrasound, digital fluoroscopy, and an interventional suite.
This role requires a Diagnostic Radiologist with a special interest in Nuclear Medicine, including skills in MRI and CT-guided procedures.
You will join a team of five Interventional Radiologists and six Diagnostic Radiologists, contributing to quality initiatives and participating in an out-of-hours on-call roster (1:6).
This is an exciting opportunity to help establish the Nuclear Medicine department in the new Dunedin hospital and to be involved in introducing new procedures and imaging technologies, including potential PET scanner reporting.
About You
We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude, capable of handling a challenging and varied workload.
You should be qualified with FRANZCR (or equivalent) and eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ.
International candidates must also meet this registration requirement.

Salary Range
The salary falls between Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980) per annum, pro-rata, under the ASMS Collective Agreement.
