The Mental Health Service for Older People (MHSOP) is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their community team. Our service provides assessment and treatment for Older People with mental health problems. Counties Manukau is a growing and culturally diverse region with both urban and rural areas.
MHSOP community team is made up of two multidisciplinary clinical teams currently based at Middlemore Hospital.
You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team of health professionals including 4 Consultants and 1 Registrar. Providing clinical leadership and oversight of community clients, you will also be involved in providing consultation liaison to Aged Care Facilities.
