NelsonMarlborough Health (NMH) is looking for expressions of interest for a permanent0.8FTE to full-time cardiologist to join our dynamic team early in 2021. Nelsonhas a full interventional service providing PCI and pacemaker and implantabledefibrillator insertion, and a progressive non interventional service includingadvanced echocardiography, heart failure, GUCH, cardiac MRI and CTCA.
Coreskills sought are pacemaker and, if possible, defibrillator implantation.Additional interest in the other non-invasive and invasive specialist areas ofcardiology, in line with the service described above, are welcome and will befostered.
Although thisposition is based in Nelson you will provide a district-wide service acrossboth Nelson and Wairau hospital sites. Applicants are expected to be involved in a 1:5general cardiology on call rota. Interventional cardiologists will be expectedto partake in an interventional roster, 1:3 that will be overlaid.
