Construction Site Supervisor

Having now expanded further into construction, an opportunity has become available for a Construction Supervisor in our company ;We are looking for Constructor site supervisor to assist us in running our upcoming projects. Our company is based in Pokeno, Waikato.

Your role will be to assist the construction manager and may include:

· Running planning and organising the team and materials on site

· Manage Health and Safety on site to a high standard

· Meet with Clients on new sites and collect information for the operations manager

· Work through projects with the client, architect, contractors ,and project managers

· Working in our office assisting the operations manager with take offs for tender quotes

· Be a leader to the team Ideally you will:

· Have a willingness to learn new fields of construction we undertake

· Hold a current Site Safe Passport would be an advantage or we can offer to have one

· Be well organised and a good time keeper

· Be a team player with the ability to work unsupervised or in a team

· Should be willing to learn and read and understand plans, specifications and details.

· Have a willingness to work out of town when required.

· Must have clean driver license

Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

You will be responsible for leading a small team of 2-4 people to complete residential and light commercial projects. Work is Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 7am to 7pm depending on projects. As this is a smaller team, you will be expected to get in and labour as well.

Remuneration is assessed based on skills and experience and can be discussed at time of interview.

Own reliable transport- the sites is located away from public transport routes
