We are currently in search for a Construction Project Manager to join our team based at our Auckland support office.
In this role you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling and administration with the aim for "end to end" project ownership. You will be able to lead the coordination of the critical part of the project life cycle, from cradle to grave. At Bunnings, our culture is all about people, that's includes looking after our team, customer and contractors that we deal with, which means you will own and drive a "zero harm" safety culture.
You will also be responsible for:
•Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with consultants and contractors
•Communicate and reinforce Business requirements and standards to internal and external project stakeholders
•Recommend design improvements, cost and time saving improvements to ensure delivery under approve capex budget.
•Liaise and communicate effectively with Store Management and minimize project disruption on store operations and customers
•Ensure all approvals and certificates are obtained with a complete handover in a timely manner

To be successful in the role:
•Relevant qualifications in the Building and Construction industry & in delivering multiple capital works projects and developments
•You will have specific on-site project management experience on retail projects
•Track record in managing diverse projects and associated contractor/consultant/site supervisor/suppliers and store teams
•Demonstrated experience in understanding agreements for development plans, Building Specifications, and building costs
•Working knowledge of standard construction contracts
