Guaranteed work available for an very reliable, experienced all rounder concreter / tradesperson - capable of doing concrete, carpentry, painting, plumbing, decks, fences etc. in the South Auckland and Lower Hutt areas in Wellington.
Must have good references and strong repair and maintenance experience in the area and potentially with good reliable construction or residential R&M companies.
A 2 year service contract will be provided which will have guaranteed repair and maintenance works both inside and outside Housing NZ homes. If you have your own equipment, a full fitted van with no criminal offences this opportunity would be the ideal role for you.
All the administrative aspects will be managed from Auckland making it quite easy for you to carry on and complete your job orders without the hassle of the paperwork. Payments will be made fortnightly on successful claims been lodged. Materials rates will be included in these jobs.
The person must be a self-starter, good communicator and have a good sound understanding of safe work practices and but also respectful of tenants and different cultures. Safety training and inductions will be provided for the successful applicant.
This could be an ideal role for someone with 3-5 years experience and looking to start their business or supplementing their existing workload.
Must be available on weekends if required.
