The Opportunity Our Regulatory Compliance Support Team is seeking a Compliance Support Coordinator to join them on a permanent, full-time basis in Dunedin. Reporting to the Team Leader Compliance Support, this role's primary purpose is to provide timely and accurate administrative support services across the Regulatory Group. In this position, you'll manage the lifecycle of consents from the point they are issued to their eventual expiry. You will be relied upon for maintaining and accurately updating our resource consent database and document management system. You'll also be responsible for answering public enquiries both over the phone and via our shared email inboxes. An important part of the role is educating consent holders to ensure they are meeting the conditions of their resource consent. To succeed in this role, you'll have good attention to detail coupled with previous experience in administration or a similar role working with document management or databases. Experience working in local government, environmental management or the rural sector would be an advantage.
