We believe our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive—a place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired!Job DescriptionOur Broxburn site has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.As a Compliance Coordinator, you will support the Broxburn Team in the successful application of SHEQ, BRC principles, and Transport compliance, ensuring the site remains compliant with current legislation, quality standards, and contractual obligations.Key Duties of a Compliance Coordinator:Ensure all practices align with Company policies, processes, and standards related to goods and services supplied.Conduct internal audits to demonstrate compliance and implement improvement actions where necessary.Maintain BRC accreditation and ensure services meet accreditation standards.Oversee site maintenance to keep all areas clean and tidy, ensuring maintenance aligns with Company requirements.Participate in depot meetings, chairing where appropriate, in H&S, HACCP, Food Safety, or other SHEQ-related projects.Produce and share relevant KPIs on performance levels with management, authorities, and customers, including near miss reporting and HACCP.Review and advise Line Management Teams on Risk Assessment and Hazard Spotting to support their development.Conduct accident investigations within agreed timeframes and implement corrective actions.Assist Operational Teams in identifying trends, training needs, and risk management strategies.Support management in identifying and executing improvement initiatives and participating in projects.QualificationsExperience with compliance requirements and challenges within Transport and Warehouse Operations.Knowledge of Health & Safety and internal/external auditing processes.Effective communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence senior management.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.Understanding of BRC standards is desirable.Proficient in MS Office packages such as Word and Excel.Additional InformationWe are committed to making Fowler Welch a great place to work.
