Now is the perfect time to join the evolving National Compliance Team at the Department of Conservation. Our team leads the enforcement of DOC legislation– including investigations that can result in a warning, infringement fine or a prosecution.

The Role
As Compliance Administrator, you will be the main source of administrative support for DOC's enforcement system. You will be an integral part of the team that ensures the integrity of the infringement process, and you'll be working closely with front line officers and the DOC legal team. You'll be assisting with the issuing of fines, enabling and disabling staff access to key systems, and producing reports on enforcement work. You will also provide general administrative support to the National Compliance Team leaders.

What we are looking for
Relevant work experience in legal administration, infringement processing, or office administration
Ability to organise work and meet timeframes
Ability to ensure security of confidential/sensitive material
Operational database experience
A high degree of initiative and judgment
Attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and relationship management skills
Satisfactory Police Check
