Join us today.About the Role:As a Complex Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives—providing tailored, one-on-one support that empowers our clients to live as independently and fully as possible.Through close collaboration with each individual, you'll develop and deliver personalized care plans that address their unique physical, emotional, and social needs.
Your dedication will not only enhance their daily living but also promote dignity, confidence, and overall well-being—helping them thrive every step of the way.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized care plansMonitor client progress and provide timely updatesAssist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and hygieneProvide support with toileting and bowel managementAid clients with mobility and the use of assistive equipmentAssist clients in managing their medication regimenEncourage and support clients in maintaining their independenceHelp with meal preparation and feeding when necessaryMaintain accurate and up-to-date health records while ensuring effective communication with the care teamFoster strong relationships with clients and their familiesFacilitate clear and effective communication for clients with diverse needsWhat We're Looking For:A strong passion for empowering clients to live fulfilling and independent livesAt least 6 months of professional experience in complex careLevel 4 Healthcare qualification or equivalent (preferred)Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and punctualCulturally aware with sensitivity to diverse backgroundsExcellent communication skills, with a high proficiency in EnglishA valid NZ driver's license and the ability to travel across the Bay of PlentyExperience in bowel care and a willingness to assist with physiotherapy exercisesFlexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekendsWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of $28.25, in addition to travel time and mileage reimbursementSupportive and collaborative team environmentFlexibility and variety within the roleOngoing training and opportunities for professional developmentComprehensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the roleMake a Difference in Your Community!If you are ready to advance your caregiving career and join an organization that values your contributions, apply today to become a Complex Caregiver with Life Plus.
