This will be the largest aquatic and indoor recreation and community venue in New Zealand. The three-building facility will cater to local and international events, with construction including a 10-lane competition pool with seating for 1,000 spectators, swim leisure area, nine indoor netball and basketball courts and a show court with retractable seating for 2,500 spectators. This project continues CPB Contractors' long track record of delivering important infrastructure in New Zealand.Your OpportunityAs the Completions Manager, reporting to the Construction Manager and working closely with our Project Supervisors and Engineers, you will drive the completion of the project. You will be responsible for:Acting as a key point of contact in relation to the completions program schedule and milestone updates, delivery priorities, escalations, acceptance requirements, process improvements, quality and change management.Identify critical paths and blockers, resources management/levelling, and ensuring project program schedule and deliverables are maintained and updated.Develop and managing defect rectification process to allow close out of defects/NCR's in a timely and effective manner as per the construction management plan.Analyse and report on defects and NCR's, conduct trend analyses and implemented corrective actions for future learnings.Report to Construction Manager, Project Manager and client on completions program progress, changes and delays.Minimum requirements for this role include:Minimum 5 years' experience working on large scale commercial construction projects, within a quality or completions management position.Fit out trade experience is desirable.Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to comply with scope of works and quality requirements.Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.Experience correlating, analysing and reporting on technical data to improve and streamline process.As the successful candidate you will need to be highly motivated, well organised and committed to the highest possible work standards. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and subcontractors.
