You will drive strategic partnerships with leading nonprofits, top customers, and the government to upskill, certify, and bring local talents from underrepresented communities into this companies partner and customer ecosystem, in close partnership with the Government Affairs lead, the One Commercial Partner Lead, Communication Lead, the Public Sector Lead, and the Datacenter Community team.
You will build a pipeline of opportunities focusing on environmental sustainability and accessibility which can be supported through seed grants. Curate skills-based volunteering opportunities on digital inclusion and tech for social impact, which employees can register. Partner with the New Zealand and Asia Communications team to create human-centred stories showcasing the impact of technology on people’s lives.
Job Description
Drive excellence in execution of programmatic priorities in New Zealand, ensuring investments that contribute to closing the skills gap and enhancing employability for undeserved communities. This would involve co-designing engagement frameworks with nonprofit partners, including collaboration with government entities and other organisations from the private sector, and aligning programs with key business strategies and priorities
Represent this brand to the local non-profit community- donation and sponsorship queries, community events, campaigns, etc.
Actively create opportunities for partnership, collaboration and engagement with large customers and partners
Create showcases of technology being used for good, or addressing the most important issues of our time, such as environmental sustainability, inclusion of people with access needs, and humanitarian crises.
Help advance policy agenda by partnering with the Government Affairs team to support public policy advocacy for issues such as skills and employability.
Develop relationships with government, grant applicants and recipients and serve as a liaison by leveraging best practices and activities as appropriate from other subs, as well as drive regional integration.
Cooperate with regional teams to provide support and raise awareness of New Zealand initiatives and national agenda.
Conduct due diligence on all grants and cause related marketing proposals including.

Job Requirements
Over 6-7 year of experience project managing social impact initiatives in a CSR/corporate or government affairs setting or philanthropy/nonprofit manager role in New Zealand
Demonstrated experience managing relationships, networks and teams that include a diverse group of people representative of the public and private sectors, community-based organisations, nonprofit and civic leadership as well as program beneficiaries.
Proven effectiveness driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects to desired results. You must be able to establish strong working relationships and rhythms and manage the diverse projects at the same time.
An understanding of emerging digital technologies and the opportunities that these new trends offer to advance social and economic outcomes.
Proven ability to seek out, understand and incorporate feedback from the undeserved communities we want to serve.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to distill complex information into simple messages and concise communication materials, tailored for the audience. Ability to drive recommendations and land priorities across team leads, senior executives and across organisational boundaries.
