Kainga Tiaki Centre provides a range of assessment and recovery focused treatment options for adults experiencing serious mental illness and psychological disorders. The Community Acute Service (CAS) provides short term therapeutic treatment options for service users and their families / whanau. As a key member of this dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will carry out assessments and clinical interventions with service users presenting with acute mental health needs and increased risks. We are seeking someone with strong clinical competencies with excellent communication and decision making skills. This role would suit a clinician with experience in a community mental health setting and an interest in acute community mental health work. You will need to be a Duly Authorised Officer or willing to undertake training to fulfil this requirement within the first year of employment. This is arostered position (Monday to Sunday)including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
