Home Health Care Services provides high quality nursing and allied health services within the Counties Manukau Health Region. We are committed to helping our clients remain as healthy as possible, in their own homes.
We have a 1.0FTE (40) hours per week health assistant to support the Community Health team. This position is based at Orakau road Mangere and the successful applicant will have the ability to work across the bases.
The role will encompass:
Ordering, supplying and delivering equipment to patients
Assisting with exercise programmes
Basic assessment of patients
Computer input
General administration
Personal Cares

Ideally you will have:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good command of verbal and written English
Current full NZ Drivers Licence
Good computer skills (eg word, excel, outlook)
Excellent time management and organisational skills

Desired
Current first aid certificate
Previous experience in the health care sector
NZQA Level 3 Health Assistant
