Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Les Mills International is seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position with a minimum of 4 years of experience, the ideal candidate will be resourceful, resilient, detail-oriented, and possess strong research skills.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote Les Mills International and its brand- Create engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, and press releases- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make strategic recommendations for improvement- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including media, partners, and influencers- Assist with crisis communication and manage public relations issues as needed- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication and marketing

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Excellent organizational and time management abilities- Proficiency in social media management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment- Experience with content creation and copywriting- Knowledge of the fitness industry or interest in health and wellness is a plus
