This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in property management and stakeholder engagement will make a real difference.Key Responsibilities include:Property Agreements:Negotiating and managing property leases for the University.Providing expert advice and mitigating risks associated with property agreements.Ensuring compliance with legal and University policies.Property Management:Maintaining strong relationships with tenants, ensuring mutual benefits.Conducting tenancy reviews, rent assessments, and lease renewals.Overseeing operational aspects of on-campus properties.Business & Financial Management:Managing property budgets, rental invoicing, and compliance.Ensuring University policies and financial regulations are followed.Supporting property acquisitions and disposals.Health, Safety & Sustainability:Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.Promoting sustainable property management practices.You have extensive commercial property management experience within a large organisation and will be able to demonstrate:Knowledge of commercial and residential tenancy laws and property agreements.Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.Bachelor's Degree (NZQA Level 7) in a relevant field.An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.The closing date for this position is: 19 March 2024 (midnight, NZ time)Please note, applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews may take place before the close date.Applications for this position must be submitted via our careers website and should include a cover letter and resume.Please note, we do not accept applications by email; however, we are happy to answer your queries in relation to the application process.
