Our Team
We have an opportunity to work with our well-known and highly respected national property team. Specializing in project development, forestry, commercial property leasing, subdivisions, infrastructure and overseas investment in property our innovative team has a depth of experience that spans all areas of property law. Examples of the caliber and significance of our recent work include:
acting for large multinational investment funds on a number of significant New Zealand forestry acquisitions;
acting for a property syndicator on investment schemes across New Zealand;
acting for a listed property fund on commercial and industrial developments;
acting for large scale private landowners on retail and industrial developments;
acting for national retailers on their office and retail portfolios.
You can be confident you will be given opportunities to take on responsibility but with the necessary guidance and support. The type and level of work will include researching, drafting, advising, negotiating and property transaction management. At any time, your work opportunities could encompass property acquisitions, divestments, development and construction, subdivisions, leasing, title issues, Public Works Act issues, Overseas Investment Act approvals and day-to-day general property management advice.
You will also have the benefit of working closely with our finance, infrastructure and commercial team of lawyers in our bespoke Britomart open plan office.
You
Ideally, you will have over 4 years quality property law experience or mixed property and commercial law experience. You will be smart, confident and approachable and have a service and results focus, along with an interest in the commercial property sector and business generally.
