This is a group-level position offering significant exposure to complex, high-value projects while playing a critical part in driving commercial performance and capability uplift across the business.The roleReporting into the National Commercial Director, this is a rare opportunity to step into a group commercial function where you'll work closely with Legal, Risk and senior operational leads to ensure commercial outcomes across the entire construction lifecycle.
From new business handover to project completion, your focus will be on commercial risk management, compliance, subcontractor strategy, and ensuring project teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge to make confident commercial decisions.Key responsibilities include: Leading contract reviews, risk assessments, and financial audits across multiple live sites Supporting project teams with procurement, subcontract negotiation, and claims management Overseeing commercial training and upskilling initiatives across delivery teams Acting as the commercial voice between site teams, legal, and executive leadership About you:We're looking for a senior commercial professional with Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor experience, who understands the pressures of live delivery but thrives in a more strategic, cross-functional role.
