We're looking for a 'big picture, conceptual and analytical thinker' to join our team in this pivotal role within the business.
Reporting to our General Manager Finance, a critical part of your role will be to review, monitor, forecast and report on production variances and data integrity from a financial perspective and where necessary correct production orders with controllable variances and / or adjust the data across our Plywood site.
The key areas you'll focus on include:
High level production data integrity and reconciliation across Plywood liaising with financial cost accountant on process improvements and variance analysis
Reviewing trends across production work centres, production conversion rates, log conversion and lost in process with root cause analysis and recommendations
Cross functional business role with responsibility for control processes including:
- Reviewing trends in variances across materials/product families
- Reviewing trends in production conversions and LIPs
- Financial/Management accountant backup as required
- Pricing/rebate/COGS analysis as required
- Recommendations on improvements and changes pertaining to all of the above
Current provision of Production KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis working with production to pass primary responsibility backup as required. Regular audits to ensure information provided is accurate and timely
SAP BOM and Routing integrity
Continuous improvement of data capture, analysis and change for both production and financial numbers
Stock Control management stores, finished goods and WIP
With proven experience within a similar role/s and ideally exposure to manufacturing, you'll be versed in analysing problems, interpreting data, have a solid financial background and the ability to develop and improve reporting functions. SAP knowledge is essential as is a Business Degree with major in management accounting.
