Commercial Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, your duties will include:
Conducting analysis and preparing recommendations for acquisitions and divestments
Assisting in management of internal financial forecasting (including for debt and valuation purposes)
Identifying profitability improvement initiatives
Providing commercial recommendations on alternative business plans and strategies
Preparing recommendation papers for Executive and Board discussion
Creating cash flow projections with sensitivity analysis
Other ad hoc financial analysis
Skills and Experiences:
Strong finance and commercial skills
Qualified person is preferred (CA / CPA / CFA or similar)
M&A experience preferred (valuing businesses and due diligence)
Solid understanding of Financial Statements is required
Ideally one / two years' experience post qualification
Need to be very strong with excel and building financial models
Adept at pull larging datasets from financial systems
Can analyse data and provide insights and recommendations
Ability to work cross functionally
Sound people skills required
This is a four-month fixed term position, working 40 hours per week
