With Summer nearly here the countdown is on to warm evenings, delicious summer food, BBQs, and relaxing holidays. It’s also the busiest time of the year for our stores and meeting the needs of our customers is our number one priority. Over our peak trading season, approximately November through to February, we need some extra helpers to join our team.

Who we’re looking for
Customer Service Team Members: Be it the checkout or customer service desk, you’re all about focusing and committing to serve our customers. You work at pace and with a smile, you may have previous cash handling skills or you can pick up technology and systems quickly and understand and enforce legislation around the sale of liquor.
Online Assistants: You have excellent attention to detail and a focused attitude. Our online department fills internet orders which can vary in size and delivery date, you thrive on working to a tight schedule. You're also happy to work early starts and enjoy being active and on your feet for a full shift.
Fresh Food Assistants: From fresh fruit and vegetables to meats and cheeses to antipasto and baked goods, you’ll handle some delicious products.You’ll be working in our deli, meat or bakery departments assisting customers with their next picnic selection or BBQ choice for the day. You need to be happy dealing with raw meat products, enjoy interacting with customers and be committed to high food safety standards.
Night Fill Team Members: You are a night owl and are able to work between 9pm – 7am, you improve the customer shopping experience by ensuring our vast range of products are available for customers. You work to fill and maintain the presentation of stock after trading hours to ensure our store standard is upheld for the next day’s trade.
The right attitude is everything… Experience is not always necessary, if you have a genuine passion for food and shopping, customer first mentality, love teamwork and growing with others, are flexible and adaptable to change and are willing to work and reliable, we can help with that, we’ll teach you the skills you need on the job. You’ll need the right to work in New Zealand and to be happy to complete a Ministry of Justice check as part of the recruitment process.
