As a Cloud Engineer, you'll work with like-minded other skilled Engineers as a point of escalation providing expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure. You'll be responsible for maintaining cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security while also resolving any issues that arise. With additional knowledge of Microsoft 365 and backup solutions, you'll be able to bridge the technical gap between modern cloud solutions and existing infrastructures.
Responsibilities:

Support clients in their cloud environments, resolving issues and enabling them in their day-to-day operations.
Ensure SDM requests are prioritised appropriately and carried out according to set NPA (next point of action).
Coach junior engineers in the team and lead by example with your troubleshooting and technical capability.
Maintain effective relationships both internally and externally with customers so communication lines are open and well organised.
Participate in process improvement activities and share best practices with the team.

Requirements:

An experienced Cloud or Systems Engineer with a background in Cloud Infrastructure.
Previous experience in a technical support role within an MSP or fast-paced tech.
Technical troubleshooter, proactive and enjoys problem-solving.
Proficient in Azure, with experience in AWS management.
Familiar with Microsoft Exchange (online), Microsoft 365, and backup technologies like Veeam and AvePoint.
