About the Role
As a part of this dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessments and implement clinical psychological services to assist clients with their rehabilitation post- acute setting. Work on complex cases with clients who have developed significant behavioural, cognitive or psychological dysfunction from their personal injury. Permanent part time hours available or a 40hr working week. Salary rates to match experience and current MECA rates.
Duties
* Complete full assessments of clients current psychological status
* Work with the MDT to formulate comprehensive care and rehabilitation plans
* Provide evidenced-based psychological interventions
* Initiate education programmes for self-management
* Produce professional, comprehensive well rationalised concise reports
Skills & Experience
* NZ Recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology
* Current APC and registration with New Zealand Psychologists Board or ability to obtain this
* ACC Registration or eligible to apply
* Experience and knowledge of working with adults and/or children with physical injuries
* Traumatic Brain Injury/ Neuro or Spinal Injury experience beneficial
