Lotofale provides cultural and clinical support and expertise to Pacific Island clients and their families who enter Mental Health Services at ADHB. Commitment to our clients ensures healing in a holistic manner taking into account family, cultural, spiritual, physical and mental dimensions. In this way we are able to achieve the best possible standards of cultural-clinical care.
Working within the Lotofale clinical and community support team, you'll provide mental health assessments and offer a high level of clinical treatment to our service users as part of a well-established team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to the team will ensure that we are all able to support each other and share clinical knowledge. It would be an advantage to have experience in trauma informed therapy. An interest in the Pacific culture is viewed as a core requirement for this role and a fluency in a Pacific language would be advantageous but not mandatory.

This is a Permanent Part time (0.6 FTE) role based at Greenlane Clinical Centre and would suit a person who is confident and experienced in their clinical practice. You will impress with your high level of time management and organisational skills. It is essential that you are a NZ Registered Psychologist with a PG Diploma or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme. A current annual practising certificate (Clinical Scope of Practice) is required.
