An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced clinical psychologist who would like to live in the beautiful Coromandel area and work across the rural clinics in the area. This team rarely has vacancies so this is a unique opportunity.
The ICAMH team work to a cluster model working with our local Kaupapa Maori Primary health partner.
The base for ICAMH is nominally in Thames. We are seeking a psychologist with a strong theoretical orientation, who is focused on delivering effective and efficient therapy and has the ability to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team of experienced clinicians.
This position is likely to involve some travel in work time to rural clinics.
Waikato DHB psychologists enjoy strong links with the Waikato University training programme, there is committed clinical leadership, and there are favourable provisions for continuing professional development.
In addition the successful applicant can access support for relocation and accommodation up to 4 weeks on arrival.
