0.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight) 0800hrs - 1700hrs

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Bay of Plenty District Health Board based in Tauranga for a Clinical Psychologist.
You will be working in a supportive, multidisciplinary team with a focus on the Recovery Model. If you are enthusiastic and looking to work in this specialised field to gain experience or further develop existing experience then this maybe an opportunity for you. The focus of the role is on both psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention for people requiring specialist mental health and addiction input.
We are seeking someone who in registered to work in New Zealand and can work as part of a team to engage service users and help meet their psychological needs, support the team in this demanding work and develop their psychological thinking about complex cases. Experience of work with similar user groups and working within multi-disciplinary teams is desirable.

Requirements:
Masters degree in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology
(or overseas equivalent) and NZ registration as a Clinical Psychologist
Competence and clinical experience in adult mental health
Ability to work within a professional multi-disciplinary team
