About the Role
As a part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessments and implement clinical psychological services to assist clients with their rehabilitation post injury. Work on complex clinical situations with clients who have developed significant behavioural, cognitive or psychological dysfunction from their personal injury. Permanent full time or part time hours available across a 40 hr working week. Salary to match experience and current MECA rates.
Skills & Experience
* NZ recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology
* Current APC and registration with New Zealand Psychologists Board or ability to obtain this
* ACC Registration or eligible to apply
* Experience and knowledge of working with adults and/or children with physical injuries
* Traumatic Brain Injury/ Neuro or Spinal Injury experience beneficial
Duties
* Complete full assessments of clients current psychological status
* Work with the MDT to formulate comprehensive care and rehabilitation plans
* Provide evidenced-based psychological interventions
* Initiate education programmes for self-management
* Produce professional, comprehensive well rationalised concise reports
