About the Role
As a part of this dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessments and implement psychological services to assist clients with their rehabilitation, within the community or at the clinic offices. Work on complex cases with clients who have developed significant behavioural, cognitive or psychological dysfunction from their personal injury.
Duties
* Complete full assessments of clients current clinical psychological status
* Work with the MDT to formulate comprehensive care and rehabilitation plans
* Identify barriers that are preventing rehabilitation towards independence
* Provide evidenced-based psychological interventions
* Initiate education programmes for self-management
* Produce professional, comprehensive well rationalised concise reports
Skills & Experience
* Recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology
* Current APC and registration with NZ Psychologists Board or ability to obtain this ACC registration or eligible to apply
* Experience and knowledge of working with adults and/or children with physical injury
* Traumatic Brain Injury or Spinal Injury experience beneficial
