A vacancy has arisen in the Cardiology / Respiratory Services at Tauranga Hospital.
This is a very busy but friendly department that carries out a wide range of tests including echocardiography, pacing implant and follow up (ICD/CRT/bradycardia), cardiac catheterisation, PCI, exercise tests and ambulatory monitors-respiratory and sleep diagnostics.
This post is an ideal opportunity for someone with technical experience in Cardiac and Respiratory diagnostics. This is a permanent position with the workload shared as service requires between Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals. Professional registration with the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technologists is essential.
Tauranga is a coastal city in the Bay of Plenty region, on the east coast of New Zealand. It is renowned for its beautiful beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, fishing, outdoor pursuits, tramping, walking, native bush reserves and often claims the most sun hours in New Zealand. Tauranga is centrally located for driving being only 2 hours from Auckland, around an hour away from Hamilton or Rotorua, and in winter it is under 3 hours to the central plateau ski fields.
