0.70 FTE Permanent Positions (56 Hours per Fortnight)
Rostered rotating positions including weekends
Are you an experienced Mental Health Nurse with extensive acute experience and a passion for workforce development?
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Senior Registered Nurses to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist providing expert nursing assessment and leadership support within the MH Assessment & Brief Care (ABC) Team.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be provided the opportunity to:
Undertake intake assessments for persons referred to Secondary Mental Health services
Provide nurse consultancy liaison and assessments for the Emergency Department and hospital specialist services
Contribute to practice improvement initiatives and
Work with the nursing leadership team to ensure that service delivery from the Acute Intervention Service is of the highest standard and meets best practice guidelines.

The successful candidate must have:
a current and valid Annual Practicing Certificate with NZ Nursing Council and a current Drivers licence
a depth of experience working with people experiencing acute mental illness and demonstrate a variety of talking therapy skills.
