About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Physiotherapist to join our
Allied Health Team as a Clinical Leader in Physiotherapy.
As a Clinical Leader you will provide day-to-day
clinical, professional, and cultural clinical leadership to the physiotherapy team.
You will contribute to the strategic planning of the department and be involved
in managing clinical caseloads and supporting the Allied Health Team Manager in
clinical aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and rostering.
About You
You will be an experienced leader whose core focus
is to support, enable and develop our people to ensure we deliver high quality
results for our patients.
Your clear communication skills will mean you can effectively
delegate work responsibilities and build trust with the team and be a leader
that people want to work with and for.
As a Clinical Leader, you'll be resilient to
change and able to have honest and courageous conversations to drive
improvement and equitable outcomes for people, communicates and whānau we care
for.
Essential skills and experience:
* 5 years minimum clinical experience * Experience with clinical teaching, training and development of
staff * Experience in people leadership or management is desirable * Experience making judgements in complex situations where there is
incomplete information or solutions are not obvious * Experience in case management * Knowledge of NZ Health & Disability sector standards and the
Privacy Act within a health context * Experience in quality /service improvement activities * Experience with policy / procedure review / development * Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo
Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your
learning and growth * Experience in projects / initiatives which give
effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of
Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in
