Clinical Coordinator – 3rd floor Permanent Part time (0.5 FTE) Mo te turanga | About the role The Clinical Co-ordinator will be a registered Allied Health professional with a current New Zealand APC, a desire and ability to lead 3rd Floor Allied health team. Clinical coordinator needs to be present on 3rd floor every weekday and able to respond to the needs of the MDTs. The Clinical Co-ordinator will: Provide support to the unit manager by taking on responsibility of clinical leadership and operational tasks for Allied health team on 3rd floor. Provide the clinical direction and day to day management. Provide co-ordination and allocation of resources to patients based on clinical needs and skill mix of the clinical team. Ensure patient and staff safety and best practice is a priority. Key to your success in this position will be your ability to lead effective teams. The successful candidate will have experience working in in-patient and be able to demonstrate good clinical decision making, be able to think outside the square and have excellent communication and engagement skills.
