We are looking for the next Clinical Charge Nurse to join our Department of Critical Care Medicine here at Auckland DHB.
Our Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM) is one of the leading critical care units in New Zealand. DCCM is located on the 8th floor of Auckland City Hospital with a very central location and easy access to public transport
In this role, you will enable an effective practice environment through providing clinical and professional nursing leadership, coaching of staff and monitoring standards of practice. Your role is important to ensure that we are able to deliver the best health services to our clients here at DCCM.
As an ideal candidate for this position, you will have:
Advanced clinical practice knowledge with demonstrated leadership experience
A post-graduate ICU qualification and recent experience in ICU as a senior staff nurse
Ability to provide coaching and address performance issues within the team
Strong accountability for resource and budget management

This is apermanent, fulltime position working 40 hours per week doing fully rostered 12 hour shifts, based at Auckland City Hospital.
