Our team has broad commercial experience in the financial services industry and other business sectors.Ko te turanga mahi | About the roleOur Finance Officer Custodial Services sits as part of our Custody team.
A key focus for this role will be daily cash and asset reconciliations, banking, reporting, and adhering with risk and compliance requirements.
We are looking for someone to join our team on a 6-month fixed term.Compilating and delivering client portfolio reportingInvestment and cash transaction processing, including the preparation and checking of transactionsAnswering operational queries from clientsSupporting Corporate Action processing, where requiredKo wai koe | About youWe will value your inquisitive nature and strong attention to detail and accuracy, a logical thinker, you enjoy solving problems by utilising information and data to develop solutions.
Your enthusiasm, customer focused approach, diligence, and ability to work efficiently within a small team, will see you succeed in this role.Our ideal candidate will have:18 months experience within a finance, banking or financial services-based backgroundA relevant tertiary qualification in finance or accounting is preferred.Exposure to the investment industry, is an advantageAdvanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong time and self-management skills, and the ability to work to tight timeframesA confident communicator with strong written and oral skillsNga ahuatanga kei a matou | What we offerPublic Trust are taking the lead on educating New Zealanders on the importance of planning for their future.
