We are looking for a Client Director with the ability to integrate at all levels of the Customer model and take over one of our biggest accounts and take it to the next level. There has been a number of changes in relationship and approach and now we want someone to modernise and evolve this Sales experience to build strong relations with one of our largest Key Customers and drive Honeywell’s explanation. This role is Auckland based but with the Customer’s Office in Wellington expect to travel.
Position Summary
You will act as a business partner to these accounts and get to know the customer’s business, drivers, and organization, and a deep understanding of the value that Honeywell Building Services (HBS) brings to the customer to drive to real business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Relationships: Develop and sustain long term customer relationships; serving as an ambassador to our customers, trusted advisor, and advocate. In the first instance we want someone that can evolve this account and not manage it but work with it and on it. It has a new approach to its business and this is incredibly exciting for us as a supplier. Show us the way forward with this customer.
Sales Process: Leads the day to day and strategic: maintaining a balanced approach to outstanding customer service and strategic account planning; Focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account;
Customers: Engage technical buyers, economic buyers, and relationship buyers; engage customers at all levels in an organization including executive-level decision-makers; become indispensable
People Management: Leverages resources to address customers’ drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner; Guides and brings to bear management and executive sponsor interactions with the customer;
Results: Profitable growth in the form of new opportunities within existing accounts; Orders and margin above-set quota in support of Annual Operating Plan.
You must have and be
In the first instance an account manager of legendary proportions.
In-depth industry and market knowledge of Government and aligned accounts and approach.
An understanding and or desire to consume and become engaged with Building Systems
Empathetic, Innovative and Altruistic personality with a mind for technology
Proven experience in an account management role within a similar industry
An ability to influence people, shape processes, and drive the business
Experience working with CMS and Salesforce.
