Cleaners make our hospital a place where sick people can get better safely, families can visit in comfort, and staff can do great work in a hygienic environment. From wards and operating theatres to public areas and offices, you will clean following a standard methodology to ensure we achieve approved cleaning standards.
If there’s an urgent need for cleaning in a different part of the building, you will be ready and trained to use specialist cleaning equipment.
Ideally, you will have professional cleaning experience along with floor care maintenance experience (however, we will provide on the job training for the right applicant).

Support will be given to successful applicants to complete Level 3 NZQA Qualifications and progress your career.
Please note that you must have a valid work visa or NZ residency to apply. You will also need to undertake 4 weeks induction training.
