* $27.80 per hour (penal rates may apply to some shifts)
* Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3.30pm
* Parental leave cover ending October 2025

About the Role
Orderlies facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the hospital by maintaining consistent non-patient and patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times, consistent with the vision and values of the Waitemata District.
We are looking for someone with the ability to deliver compassionate service to our patients, as well as being able to get along with people from all walks of life, to join our team on a part time, fixed term basis, covering a staff member on parental leave until October 2025.

Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Waitemata provides health services to approximately 500,000 residents in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any health district.
North Shore Hospital is accessed by Shakespeare Road in Takapuna, and is situated on the shores of Lake Pupuke. The ward tower block overlooks the Rangitoto Channel and the majestic Rangitoto Island on one side, and the Waitemata Harbour with views extending towards Auckland City on the other.

About you
Our ideal applicant will have the below skills and attributes:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good command of verbal and written English
* Proactive team player
* Previous experience working as an Orderly or in a healthcare environment would be advantageous
Successful applicants will also be motivated to complete the NZQA Level 3 Orderly qualification within 6 months of employment.
