The role:
Based out of our Wellington Branch, PBT is seeking an experienced class 5 truck driver to service the transport needs of our valued clients. We need a can-do, people person who has the ability to deliver service excellence throughout the Wellington Region.
Our dynamic Wellington Team are a highly motivated tight knit team who pride themselves on their staff and client relationships. Proudly, PBT only operates the best equipment; you will be required to treat the unit with respect and care.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to be dedicated, driven and passionate about providing excellent service to all our valued customers. You will also need to be organised and experienced with operating and driving a class 5 truck & trailer to provide a delivery and collection service, additionally you must have exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
A clean and valid NZ Driver’s License with Full Class 5 and Dangerous Goods and Forklift Endorsement;
Previous experience operating a transport delivery and collection service but onsite training can be arranged for the right candidate;
Sound driving knowledge of the Wellington roads;
A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace;
Exceptional communication skills;
Strong relationship building skills; and
Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve the common goal of service delivery excellence, and equally able to prove that you can conduct your duties to the highest of standards autonomously.
