You'll be assisting with packaging, loading, unloading, re-assembling, safely handling and transporting furniture.
You will need to be friendly and approachable as there is also customer service involved in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely drive and operate a Class 2 manual vehicle for deliveries and transportationLoad, unload, and secure furniture and packages to prevent damage during transitHandle and maneuver heavy items with care, ensuring efficient and safe deliveryProvide excellent customer service while meeting and interacting with clientsFollow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely arrivalsMaintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety concernsRole RequirementsMust have a Class 2 license and be proficient in driving manual vehiclesStrong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitudePhysically fit and comfortable with hands-on workAbility to stay positive and maintain a good sense of humor in any situationTenacious and dedicated, with a strong work ethicComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentWeekly PayCompetitive hourly wages based on position and experience.Positive and collaborative work environmentApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Remarkable People is a New Zealand owned and operated recruitment company, founded in Central Otago in 2016.
