Claims Consultant

Claims is at the heart of our organisation and our Claims Operations team aims to lead the way for IAG, by being agile, efficient and delivering world leading claims experience for our customers. Our teams are designed to make it easier for customers to contact us and we aim to settle claims as quickly and easily as possible.What you'll do:As a Claims Consultant, you'll be the first person a customer talks to when they need to make a claim. You'll help them to lodge the claim and provide claims advice, processing and settlements for either Consumer and/or Banks products and services. You'll also ensure the customer understands what the next step is in the process for them.You'll appreciate that we need to be here for our customers whenever they need us, so our Contact Centre is open 7 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8am - 8pm & Saturday, Sunday 9am - 6pm). Our Claims Consultants work a variety of shifts to cover these days & hours which may include one weekend day per fortnight.What we're after:Strong customer service & claims experience and a passion for helping peopleInternal development opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to have real and genuine conversations both over the phone and via emailProven ability to achieve results, taking ownership of any customer issues and using your initiative to provide a timely resolutionAn ability to manage several tasks at once and process high volumes of work accurately & efficientlyGood computer skills with the ability to work with multiple systemsWe are offering these position as work from home opportunities, therefore, you'll need the ability to work remotely.
