Civil Project Manager

I am currently working with a dynamic civil contractor as they are seeking an established project manager to join their Tauranga based team.
They have perfected their craft across civil, commercial, and residential earthworks and drainage projects and hold a solid reputation for delivering quality outcomes.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will slot into a small, tight knit team so a high level of collaboration and communication is absolutely essential!Key Responsibilities:Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsCoordinating staff, subcontractors, and equipment to achieve efficient workflowsMaintaining clear and confident communication with clients, engineers, council representatives, and on-site teamsOverseeing the quality assurance process, including maintaining accurate QA and testing recordsPreparing and implementing Health and Safety (H&S) plans for individual projects, ensuring all requirements are met on-siteMonitoring project progress to ensure compliance with contractual standards and expectationsWhat They're Looking For:A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, particularly within civil construction projects involving earthworks, drainage, and roadingProven background in the delivery of civil projects ranging from $1M - $10MStrong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive and motivated team cultureExcellent computer skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteA proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work confidently with diverse teamsFamiliarity with local council regulations and processes (TCC/WBOPDC/RLC) is highly desirableIf you have a proven track record of successfully managing complex civil projects and are ready to take the next step in your career, please apply via the advert or contact Jordan directly!Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years of project management experience do you have?Have you completed a qualification in civil engineering?Do you have experience working on civil infrastructure projects?
