Civil Estimator (Junior/ Intermediate)

They engage in a diverse and interesting portfolio of ongoing projects in commercial construction, high voltage switchyards, earthworks, drainage among others. Due to a significantly increased workload, they are seeking a Christchurch based Civil Estimator /QS to join our team.The RoleThe successful candidate will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a variety of small and large projects across Christchurch and the South Island. Some of your key responsibilities will include:Conduct measurement of civil works, including drainage and concrete structures.Produce accurate and timely cost estimates for various civil construction projects.Handle valuations/pricing of projects, client tender notices, and information requests.Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids for competitive pricing.Qualifications and ExperienceHave relevant tertiary level qualifications (or industry specific experience to a similar degree),Have relevant experience in civil construction estimating,Have excellent communication and negotiation abilities,Have a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail to prepare estimates for internal review and submission.If this role is for you, now is the time to get in touch with Max Goodman from Stellar Recruitment at ****** or call 021 192 4899.We're processing applications now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
