Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) Mental Health Services Group is the largest provider of Mental Health Services in the New Zealand. The catchment area includes North Shore City, West Auckland and a large rural population in Rodney.
We provide a comprehensive infant, child, adolescent and family community service, including the specialist services Early Psychosis Intervention, Intensive Clinical Support Service and Maternal Mental Health, employing approximately 130 staff including 11 Psychiatrists and 4 Registrars, with a friendly and collegiate culture.

This role is part time with days by negotiation and will be based in our West Team
The service operates a clinical governance model and there are opportunities to be involved in service development, service planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Teaching and supervision of junior doctors/students and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team are core functions for our Consultants.
